Main Features of the Technology

The plants are leak-proof chambers of stainless steel with rarefied gas inside. The gas media of certain composition is formed by means of vacuum system and gas supply system at pressure of 10-² - 10-¹ Pa. The magnetron sputtering systems representing the diode with the abnormal glow discharge in crossed electrical and magnetic field. Because of the magnetic field plasma is generated mainly near the cathode and sputters it. The formed particles deposit on the processed surface. The plasma can be chemically active. In this case oxides, nitrides and other compounds of metal and gases can be obtained in it. So, a structure of coatings can be greatly expanded.
